If you think about it, the fact that soon not just Europe, but the whole world, will be literally on fire is, in fact, a very bright future.

@sarahjamielewis@mastodon.social I wonder if it might just be easier to hard fork before the whole slopware support thing started, and hen transplant any still relevant bugfixes (esp. security one).
Reading these numbers really makes me angry, because of how much they crippled web standards support on the basis that it would be too costly. 8-(

@futurebird@sauropods.win interesting. so the issue was that ants put larvae in a place where they have to optimize for the optimality of darkness and dampness, and the queen was favoring the former vs the latter, with the daughter the other way around? Pareto and linear programming experts would have had a field day with this 8-D

@Fabirucho@mastodon.social @alice@lgbtqia.space nah, being an incel is much more than just being someone who others don't want to date. It's a whole online subculture that has developed their own misogynistic philosophy, language etc.

@Fabirucho@mastodon.social @alice@lgbtqia.space no, their message is that they are lonely by choices *of others* (INvoluntary CELibate).
Fun fact, this means that if they find someone that actually does want to date them seriously, they'd cease to be incels. Too bad this doesn't usually fix their shitty personality.

But now I have more questions!
With sitting in “less conventional” positions being a characteristic of bisexuals, wouldn't those falling out of chairs being fake bis? Like, they're trying to appear bi by assuming unconventional positions, but since they aren't really bi, they can't hold the position and thus fall out?

it's a NSFW (lewd) comic by Lemonfont, and that's really the title («A perfectly normal comic where nothing weird happens») which, if you know the author, will raise a lot of flags.
(It's absolutely wholesome, and humorous, and relevant to the comic you posted, although not in the “what's in your pants” meme sense)

@jon@social.vivaldi.net
@jon@social.vivaldi.net @Ketakater@social.vivaldi.net @Vivaldi@social.vivaldi.net it's a bit of a chicken-and-egg problem though. JPEG XL for example is starting to see some traction thanks to Apple decided to support it anyway and the availability of extensions for Chrome and Firefox to handle it, and now Firefox is finally looking into adding it in main (not just in nightly behind a default-off flag).
Also, since you don't report Vivaldi as such anymore IIRC, how are you going to show that more people are indeed using it?

@jon@social.vivaldi.net @Ketakater@social.vivaldi.net @Vivaldi@social.vivaldi.net the problem with that choice is that when Google developers decide something isn't needed anymore, or shouldn't be supported in the first place (e.g., XSLT, JPEG XL) you are essentially forced to follow through with their decisions. That doesn't really help you make an impact.

for the packet to open, the front and back have to “fold” outwards, each in their direction (it forms that kind of bubble that then results in the bottom opening).
Sometimes (I have yet to understand why and how) they both fold in the same direction, so instead of the “bubble” form that opens the package, the thing basically tries to “bend” like a sheet would bend (or tries to: the scissor inside actually prevents it from actually bending that way).

and then you get the package that instead of bending both ways bends all in the same direction and you're screwed.
