Sunday, Sunday, Sunday! /end monster car show announcer voice We got what could only be described as “the best 2 minutes ever”of rain yesterday. I got a stack of formal dresses to try on for the December wedding I’m going to. Unsure which of the 2 I selected will be the winner. They are both black strapless floor length gowns. One has a second layer skirt and is heavier and the other is a satin skirt. Either way I need new 5” heels… Pictures with my crazy hair (didn’t blow dry it, it needs a really good moisture treatment on Thursday…) Today it’s laundry. May throw some FFXIV in since I need to cap for my weeklies…

I may get stuck in a Reply-all storm because the federal government doesn’t know how to set up moderation for email aliases OR send to aliases in a BCC line… I wonder at what point I start sending recipes? 🤔 (This was something we did at Cisco while we watched the mail servers melt down)

@dreadfulsanity@mstdn.games Oh no :( I haven’t done Botox for mine; I take a daily pill (replaced my monthly shot) and then have meds on hand in case one gets through the daily. Mine are caused by weather shifts, so when I get one I just hate life. I hope you find some relief soon!

Our take on strawberry marga did not come out good. We think it had to do with the cane sugar daiquiri mix we used. But we don’t want to dump it because we used Casamigos Añejo in it. So my husband just upended raspberry Bacardi, pineapple and coconut Malibu, and simple syrup into the blender. It’s actually an improvement! I’m now going to be drunk as a skunk while we wait for the pork butt to finish in the smoker…

Busy day. Renewed my CISSP and loaded all my credits in for my PMP, CSM, and CSPO certifications. The one I passed last night requires me to sit through a 3-day class to be able to renew the cert… The class costs $2,200. For the most dysfunctional cert I have ever done. Absolutely ludicrous.

Instead of taking a certification exam this afternoon, I ran numbers to buy a(nother) car. Oddly, it’s feasible. Now waiting for spousal unit to come home to go back to the dealer… I’m either going to have sense knocked into me, or I’m going to need to clean out the 3rd garage bay this weekend…
