@donray@mastodon.online Your image matches up pretty well with young Bull Frog images I found. Of course that's assuming that they were ID'd correctly😆 I've never seen a Tree Frog that looked anything like that. Couldn't think of any other good possibilities but hadn't considered it being an immature... Maybe the young'n is already smart enough to know that Mom & Dad would eat them as a snack and best to find a new home😉

@donray@mastodon.online There are some around my area but not where I can easily observe them. Mostly see Wood, Green, Leopard, Gray Tree... That article I linked to has this: "...Bullfrogs are active day and night, although movement along water courses usually occurs at night and overland movements often take place on rainy nights. Otherwise, adults usually do not move far, staying in or close to their home pond. Some young bullfrogs may move considerable distances to find new homes..." Maybe searching for a new home after some rain?

Happen to walk past an Oak Tree a few days ago that was just loaded with Hedgehog Galls. I usually have to look it over carefully to spot any. This year there are multiple Galls on most every if not all leaves😮 The inside pics were taken years ago and weren't all that well focused... #HedgehogGall #OakTree #Galls #Insects

@alexhaist@wandering.shop I found the other one this morning. About the same size but didn't seem to have a red tail. Tail was kinda plain yet. No pic, didn't have a camera along. I've read that the Moths will only lay an egg per plant. If you have lots of worms there have been lots of moths visiting.

@alexhaist@wandering.shop Oh yeah! It took me 5-10 minutes to locate it. And that's knowing exactly what to look for and years of experience finding them😆 There's likely one more on that plant I couldn't find. It gets easier to find them as they grow but by then they've done serious damage to the plant...

@jerzone@techhub.social On a cheaper note... I'd try inspecting for any cracks and then cleaning that outside rubber seal and its mating surface. It looks like that would be the only area allowing water to leak out. Any other leaks would stay inside the unit? Did you try snugging up those bolts that old it together as a first attempt?

@jerzone@techhub.social It's been done. Noticed them awhile back😉 You loose oomph and longevity with that unnecessary 90 deg gearbox on the angle grinder. Went down the rabbit-hole after tooting. Looking at that Hercules and the Prazi Beam Cutter Attachment for Circular Saws on Amazon. They're not as heavy duty as made out to be. A chain oiler is mentioned for the Hercules. Couldn't spot how it was done. On the Prazi you're meant to do it yourself manually with WD40 or other lube every few feet. That's what I end up doing with my two electric saws. Both of them have an oil tank but just gravity to get onto the chain...

@jerzone@techhub.social I have an electric chainsaw, bought many years ago for carving mushrooms. Most of them are utter rubbish, plastic frame, blade mounts and a do nothing chain oiler... I've contemplated converting a circular saw over to running a chain. Kinda figured somebody already had and was selling it😉

@jerzone@techhub.social You know, in looking at your pics... You might only need to drill part of one side, namely the bolt head. The opposite side looks like it may already be recessed enough not to be a problem. If you're REALLY lucky, the bolt side might twist off clear too. If nothing else there would be a lot less drilling involved. If you decide to drill. Drill a hole through something to act as a guide and then clamp that over the spot to drill. Peck at that spot enough to mark it good and then start with 1/8 or 1/4 bits and then move up to the size actually needed.

@jerzone@techhub.social Yeah but... did you breaker-bar have a 25 inch handle in 1/2 inch drive with a solid 6-point socket? I had to dig out our 3/4 drive a few years ago to get top rear shock mount loose. 1/2 inch impact wouldn't budge it...

@jerzone@techhub.social @groink@techhub.social @idropyou@beige.party Backing it up onto car ramps would help some. I can tell you from experience and looks of your rust... even if you get that bolt out sliding the rack bar out might be difficult too. Tried helping a buddy with similar situation. We got the pin out but gave up try to get the hitch to slide out. I still had some ideas (it wasn't at my place) but he decided to leave it as is... Try finding a 6-point impact socket 1/2 inch drive. They're usually 6-point anyway. The HF breaker bar, also sold at some of the Borg stores like HD has decent reviews. https://www.harborfreight.com/12-in-drive-25-in-breaker-bar-60819.html

@jwrm22@hsnl.social I can still get local stations off the air here. The only thing I watch is local news and weather in the morning. So I'd need a digital broadcast receiver and some sort of display. Trying to pursue this before it's actually needed (TV craps out and I can't fix it) is foolish nowadays. Technology and prices are in a constant state of flux. Though I do enjoy keeping an eye on what's new, dangerous and what might be of interest someday🙂
