Just the other day I was praising my workplace for not having ""goal setting"" as a thing, so we can just fucking do what we were hired to do.... and here comes the .MD files and indicators of success. My agent took the instructions to make those indicators "green" and set exemptions on required updates until the year 2099 Now, my indicator boxes are all green and my boss has a "good team" which he is happy with.

I guess a reminder is needed that all employees are ""graded"" in their ""participation"" which is measured by putting work deliverables in to .MD files in this godawful gitlab repo. As an I.T. support engineer that supports employees and facilities, and not directly furthering the company's primary purpose, it's very difficult to fit in to this style of project tracking. As a NetSec engineer, we don't have SPRINTS like DevOps does. Fuck that noise.

Some asshole decided to be cheap and source ASROCK RACK servers for a thing. long story short, other than the name of the box containing "2U" in it, you get 0 indication from ANY documentation that this is a rackmount server. The rails have gone missing, and is there reference of rails in the manual, or part numbers? NOPE at least if I need supermicro rails or Dell rails, those things are flooded on amazon/ebay/everywhere... ASROCK RACK? get fuckered
