Sports stars and celebrities should have learned by now that people don't care about the offending action, they care about the lying and the coverup. Just admit you screwed up, and move on. @MarkHoltom@mastodonapp.uk The thing I don't understand about people and organizations who advocate heavily for fossil fuels above any form of renewable at all is that fossil fuels are a limited resource. We can debate about whether the current supply will last another 100 years, 1000 years, 10000 years, but at some point it's going to run out. Why not begin the process of switching to something else? The conversion is going to take a very long time, so your fossil fuel profits are still going to be safe for a while.

It's absurd that he still says that given that when the previous tariffs were deemed illegal, companies got their refunds from the US government, not the country they bought items from. But he has shown that if you repeat a lie enough eventually people will believe it. Still waiting for that check from Mexico for the wall :)

Only you can decide if there are jobs you might want in the future that are going to require a degree (the same way some require certifications). If finishing the degree isn't going to benefit you then stop. The fact that you are close isn't relevant.

@cR0w@infosec.exchange If you're willing to stay in tech but want to avoid the constant emergencies and putting out of fires, look into a compliance role. That's where I ended up before retiring and it was pretty chill compared to my sysadmin days. You get to spend your days reviewing policies and telling people they are doing things wrong.

This is exactly the problem SPF, DMARC and DKIM was designed to solve, validating that mail sent using your domain is only sent from servers you have authorized to do so. The last step is for you to configure your server to reject messages that fail these tests
