Labeling the regulation of AI systems under the supervision of the EU Commission as "chat control" is a gross oversimplification.
I would describe it, rather, as AI governance. Comprehensive surveillance was doomed to fail from the start.

schade, dass der artikel aus der sichtweise einer NGO geschrieben wurde und nicht aus der sichtweise einer natürlichen person.
es ließe sich auch sehr viel menschlichkeit sparen, wenn mann alles wegautomatisiert würde und wir sind auf einem guten weg in eine wegrationalisierte zukunft der automatischen funktionsverarbeitung

Michel Foucault was not simply "anti-democratic." Rather, he criticized liberal democratic societies for exercising power through institutions such as prisons, schools, medicine, and systems of knowledge. He argued that power is present throughout society and that democracy does not automatically guarantee freedom. While he questioned many assumptions of modern democracy, he did not advocate replacing it with authoritarian government. His work is better understood as a radical critique of how power operates than as a rejection of democracy itself.
