@LJ@sunny.garden and if you want fresh eating apples sooner rather than in years (sometimes first year you plant) get some pre grafted seedlings on semi dwarf rootstock (apples start producing faster on dwarf or semi dwarf but full dwarfing rootstock trees don't live that long so pick semi dwarf). honeycrisp (which i'm allergic to raw like all modern commercial apples i've tried) is super slow to produce so pick something else. cummins nursery has great pre grafted tree seedlings. you pick two in the same bloom period (there is a chart on cummins nursery's website for good partners for each apple) plant them in the spring and often get apples that first fall.
