I'm slowly getting my spoons back after travelling and being around people last week. I got to see some ancient "stabbur" (food storage houses). Some of these date back to before the Black Death (which reached Norway in 1349).

Met this little fieldfare chick a few days ago. It just sat there, pretending to be invisible (as they do). It wasn't in any danger, so I took a picture and moved on.

A bit of electronic noise for today's #WeekOfPatching patch. The patch is simple: I ran the Crazy Chicken Magnetic Microphone through Beads. Then moved the thing around. Putting it close to mains power makes for a nice 50Hz hum, putting it close to the Novation Launchpad makes harsh noise. The most interesting sounds comes from the Roland TR-8. It has several different tones depending on where the microphone is pointed. The last part of the recording is mostly from that.

I had other plans for day 3 of #WeekOfPatching, but not enough time. So just a quick VCVRack patch today. Not my most interesting work, but maybe it will work with something else when I edit everything together.

Got some cool stuff in the mail today from @EVEL@c.im and @keefmarshall@mastodon.online. And I tried to introduce the @Cognessence@social.linux.pizza vinyl to the birds, but they weren't sure about what to do with it, so they tried to scare it by showing readiness to bite.
