@rriemann@chaos.social I was referring to .env.production for media URL configuration (e.g. S3_ALIAS_HOST, EXTRA_MEDIA_HOSTS). The location of local media is determined by the Quadlet's storage volume. If you're not using S3, you can replace the named volume with a bind mount, for example: Volume=%h/mastodon/public/system:/mastodon/public/system:z,U Then point your reverse proxy at the corresponding host directory. Mastodon still writes to /mastodon/public/system inside the container, while the bind mount exposes the same files on the host.
