A curious #student just getting into #cybersecurity. I have been daily driving #archlinux for 2 years. Good to go with the #linux internals and ready to make connections and help people. I program mostly in #c, some shell scripting and basic #python work, then some microslop windows #powershell (learning) for some offsec view. I do #math.

I love nature and hate people destroying #nature. I promote #antiAI contents and believe in people rather than AI. Currently I am just learning, diving into C and linux syscalls, writing some random stuffs.

I am new to fediverse and if someone thinks that I can be useful with my contents(posts regarding what I know), follow me so that we get what we need (good content). Feel free to reply to my posts and ask questions, or quote them. I am a male student, typical age 18 to 21, using primary language as English.

С нетерпением жду возможности завести друзей из России. Но я не знаю кириллицы — сейчас её учу.

Hello People. This is my first fediverse post, featuring my first #assembly64 program in #linux. I am a #student who is just getting into #cybersecurity and love contributing to #infosec, #lowlevel stuffs and #linuxkernel. I love to program in #c, and use #archlinux btw. Looking for people to connect. I installed LinkedIn a few days ago for connecting with people and figured out that it was a #scam in jobmarket, just data feed into companies. (No offense, just in my opinion). I was suggested to start learning #assembly64 by a random reddit user when I asked some questions about #c programming and how to get better at it. Currently learning #syscalls in linux, and I guess assembly programming alongside with c programming is helpful - I can understand syscalls and registers (for some extent). Looking forward for friends to connect. Follow me and I will follow you back - provided that we have same or similar interests. I am also interested in #russian arts, languages and techs - I am not a Russian btw. I need suggestions \ #help on how to get started in fediverse, cybersecurity and low level stuffs. You can see my profile for more information. #introduction #introductions #programming

@Xavier@infosec.exchange Yes. A self writing quine, that generates it's own source code from a fixed point in the code.

@mxmagie@urusai.social I mean the language itself - an art. And songs. Btw, I am not a Russian. Just interested. West and the East lol :). Nice. What flavor of linux do you use (I am not gonna judge, just curious)

Hey people - I am planning to write a systemwide keylogger for linux in C. That would be monitoring your /dev/input directory. I already wrote it a week ago and it works. Provided your user is in the input group, or any group that has read access to /dev/input directory. Anyone needs the code to see how I wrote it? It is just a read syscall, alongside with input-event-codes.h

I guess - people should use #AI with some context, understanding and use them not as an alternative to human workers, but as a tool, when given to capable humans who make right choices, increases the productivity and profit of the institutions. So, this is the first post with the tag : #wtfAI Need your genuine opinion on what you people think about AI. I just need to know about it's impact and popularity in current #society. 1) Is AI actually necessary for humans? We were already good before AI? Is it? 2) AI should be controlled and be put to use for only authorised people - because anyone with a bad intent can do some #TokenMaxxing - AI used as service for cyberattacks. 3) Other unanswered questions that you might have. (Like AI in #biotechnology) This is just for gathering opinions.

The most cursed program that I have ever written - took 1 hour and 17 minutes exactly to write it and run it. #c #malware #programming #cybersecurity #cprogramming #student Can someone guess what this program is? What this program outputs? How can I escalate it?

@cm0002@lemy.lol Thanks comrade. I was trying to find a way to map that stupid key - today morning, but couldn't find enough information. Nice. Going to map it - switch layouts of hyprland using that key.

@FediTips@social.growyourown.services @ShaulaEvans@zirk.us Thank you @FediTips for replying. I am a new fediverse user - need help with the following. I get the idea of fediverse - but only partially after reading wikipedia. 1) What exactly is #fediverse? There are so many instances in it. I currently have accounts in infosec.exchange and mastodon.social, what about other instances? Should I join others too? 2) I am in an infosec.exchange instance, but I am able to see posts from other instances too. So would people in other instances be able to see my posts too? 3) Will I be able to post in other instances without creating an instance specific account? Why and when should I create one? That's all for now. These are my doubts and need #help with it.

@mxmagie@urusai.social Yeah. Unixporn. Tired of seeing those rices. I previously had bspwm ddr2 2gb ram - now stable in hyprland with 16gb ddr5 ram - running caelestia shell. Uses 1.7GB idle.

@mxmagie@urusai.social Yeah. That's the thing. When you provide something immense amount of general knowledge, it would automatically become intelligent\strong in domain specific stuffs.
