@MsDropbear42@blahaj.zone Back when he died in a 'project' aircraft crash I went "oh well, those things, you know..." But recently read the details out of curiosity, and it was so pointless. He was asked to try out a small plane, was asked if he wanted it re-fuelled and said 'no, it's got a spare tank' and off he went. Well, it ran out of fuel and while he was trying to switch to the spare tank it crashed. Because the particular build had the spare tank changeover lever somewhere behind his seat and in the struggle to reach it he pushed on the flight controls and down it went. I mean, it's not even fair to call that fair. God is just a shit sometimes.

Also back then discovered Vogel's small compact grain bread, which was glorious toasted with butter. Don't know if it's me or modern versions, but they don't have that magic taste I recall. Maybe it was just the discovery, after a full childhood in the 50s raised on fresh pure white bread.

Watched Disclosure Day. Guess it was sort of OK, but getting rather inured to these 'Hollywood' alien epics. But some scenes based on "alleged" but hidden documented "alien crash sites" numbering "dozens" only made me wonder why interstellar travellers are so crap at flying when they reach Earth. Looking for a cheap 'boombox' to replace a failing device, had a laugh at the "glue" comment in this review: "If you plan to convert from tape to MP3 or vice versa, this product is crap. As a radio, this product works fine, but as a cassette player, look elsewhere. The recording quality was extremely poor. The VU meters didn't work at all. Tape playback was poor. And to achieve that slow-moving cassette door, they practically used glue as lubricant on some gears."
