@HG there’s also an app called “seeing AI” for iOS which some of my friends use to help identify things in their vicinity. It’s really helpful for figuring out shampoo versus conditioner, dollar bill denominations, etc. This app has been life-changing for some of my friends that live alone.
There are other apps where people can volunteer to be their eyes for tasks, but the first one is good for those that are still embarrassed and afraid to ask for help.

@HG I worked at a place with many visually impaired individuals. Most of them used Apple’s technology out of the box. Whether for iOS or MacOS, it seems to have the most consistent reliability. Paired with an Apple Watch, it was really helpful overall.

@rai definitely not incompatible with AI! Try to find an organization with tight security and data policies, such as nonprofits or medical facilities. It’s much easier to argue against LLMs for situations like that. Hugs!
