Former child. Current goblin. I've done everything from building drag cars to engineered soils testing. Last decade has been in network and infrastructure administration, and I must've walked through the wrong door or something because now I do Cybersecurity. Privacy advocate, love finding loopholes and making systems do things they weren't designed for. Never felt more "these are my people" than I have in infosec. Extremely lucky to be here. Probably the only person here with justified imposter syndrome and am hoping I can learn enough through osmosis by shitposting here that I'm capable of contributing something.

A friend I haven't seen in a long time sent me a video update out of the blue. I sent one back to reply.
I was watching it back just now, and it's made me realize how terrible of a communicator I am. Somewhere between my brain and my mouth a perfectly cogent, succinct thought turns into a jumbled mess of half thoughts followed by tangents followed by a 50/50 split of either the second half of that thought, or a completely different tangent.
No wonder I'm never able to get my ideas across. I'm frankly surprised anybody wants to engage with me at all if this is what it's actually like.
