Aquarium update. Day 65 of cycling. We’re almost there! Ammonia and nitrite have been clearing in <24hrs for the past week. KH is still a bit up and down but is stabilising around 3 dKH. I just did a big water change to reduce nitrate and, if it all looks good tomorrow, I’ll start stocking it! #fishkeeping #aquarium #grasskeeping

@Becksy@mastodonapp.uk I will be soon! I got a small tank at the weekend, plants arriving this week. I hope to get some ember tetras once the water has cycled. Currently treating a couple of rocks and a lump of wood as pets ;-)

Aquarium update. Day 4 of cycling the water. This morning the water is crystal clear after being a bit cloudy for a couple of days. Plants are looking healthy and starting to grow. I have a few more weeks before the water will be suitable for fish.

Kinda liking my little aquatic zen garden though!
