Hey there's lots of things you can say about Trump without going right to body-shaming.
I'd prefer "Gold-plated calf". It demonstrates both his worthless shell and the chunk of lead underneath. Nothing of value there. Just something dense and toxic.
Not to mention the biblical reference to him and his base.

Biden was not senile,
Maybe not, but man was he a shell of a former self.
That last debate…man…I’m not a very empathetic person to start with, and even I felt second-hand embarrassment.

Some, I assume, are good people.
Not to directly quote Donald Trump, but I have to assume that some are, actually, good people. In fact, I'd almost want to believe that the majority of them are...just misled, misinformed, and legitimately didn't see Trump as any sort of a saint, but still somehow saw him as 'better than Kamala'.
Whether that was implicit bias or their racism/patriarchy showing, or they had an actual reason based on what they believed to be facts they received...who knows...but I like to believe that the majority of them are the latter.
Maybe that's just my New England suburban white-boy privilege showing.
I also think that the only people that are still driving around with giant Trump flags on their trucks (or especially bikes), are either paid to do so, or are legitimately pedophiles themselves. I'm sure a homeless guy with a bike isn't too expensive if they are gonna be riding it around anyway.

Nah, Windows XP and 7 get a pass. These were solid consumer OS's.
You go back 30 years and you're at Windows 95 (holy shit) and the beginning of massive home PC adoption.
I don't feel they got hostile towards users until probably midway through Windows 10 lifecycle. The first half wasn't *that* bad, aside from changing up 20+ years of muscle-memory....but Gnome did that, too.

Having someone to complain to/point fingers at/sue is incredibly important in the business world, and a big part of why M$ is so big.
In fact, just *having* support is a big thing. Look at how shitty M$ support is. Or Cisco, for that matter.
Not to mention a steady, predictable, accountable release cadence.
If you want that, in the Linux world, it's basically Ubuntu/Canonical, RedHat/IBM, or Oracle/Oracle.
I'd call Canonical the lessest of 3 evils here...

I started wegovy pill last month and have lost 30lbs so far, roughly 8% of my starting body weight.
I’m a fat fuck though, and my first pounds always come off easy. Plus there were a couple days I just didn’t eat because I was throwing up and/or diarrhea constantly.
Vomit seems to be punishment for eating bad food (or over-eating, which is easy to do from old habits but also the medication makes you feel full sooner, and you learn to set smaller portions quick)…probably something greasy. Choose the carrot or risk the stick.
Diarrhea just seems to be a fact of life. One minute I’m pissing out my ass, an hour later I’m having the healthiest looking stool of my life. Important to remain hydrated, I guess.
The starting doses are $149/mo with mfg coupon and no insurance. Higher doses I think are $199. I believe both are cheaper than the injected variety.
As much as I hate the fact that I have to pay out of pocket for any medication…I’m fairly sure my grocery bill dropped by more than $149 since starting.

In OpenWRT, I believe it's in the settings for the "primary" ssid on each radio, which is usually the first one in the list (per radio) on the wireless settings page.
Openwrt also has options to block multicast or convert to unicast. Also make sure you are disabling lower speeds on the radio. That will reduce your max range, but devices that communicate slowly are another killer.
Broadcast and multicast both have to go at the ssid basic rate...the slowest speed supported by the AP. That could be 1Mbps. And then the AP has to repeat it. And depending on the type of traffic, this may also initiate more broadcasts from other devices on the network.
So if you can reduce broadcast/multicast, or increase the minimum speed, you'll have significantly more time. Since wireless is a shared medium, "time" is really the most critical resource.

Other people's wifi can affect yours, and vice versa, if they are occupying the same channel(s).
Most likely something on that channel is spamming multicast. That kills most consumer wifi routers (in default settings). Usually something like a sonos or Google home broadcast group.
Could also be a camera that's constantly transmitting, also occupying the channel for a long time.
But really, it could be anything.
Use an app like PingTools (Android) that can graph what is on each wifi channel. Check to find the cleanest channels in your area and configure your router to use that channel.
Failing that, if it's on your network and you don't know what it is...change your Wi-Fi password to kick everything off, then slowly re-add devices with the new password until you find the culprit.
If you're curious and technically-minded, I highly recommend this write up: https://www.wiisfi.com/
Also, you may be able to get better speeds by using narrower channels. Especially in busy areas. Easier to find 40-80MHz of clean spectrum than it is to find 160MHz. And even easier if you are open to using DFS channels (but these should generally be avoided). Doubling channel-width also doubles the noise, adding 3dB to the bad side of your SNR.
What causes speed drops and packet loss is almost always interference/weak signal. Getting high packet loss on an 80 or 160Mhz channel will be slower than a solid, clean signal on a 40MHz channel.
If you are closing your laptop, don't. The antennas are usually located in the monitor bezel and are intended to be vertically-oriented, like they would if you were using the laptop. Having it shut means a lot of the signal is directed into the laptop chassis and your desk, which would especially impact upload from the device.

It's a florida ounce. Takes its roots in the cocaine industry of Miami in the 1980s.
A florida ounce is approximately equal to about 25g of mass (on earth), or 25mL of volume.
This is different from the imperial or US ounce, which is about equal to 28g or 29mL.

And then...
The password manager can't fill the form. You've got to change your 10-word, unique passphrase because it's 3 months old. And you have to verify with a text.
Oh and then you have to type it in on your TV with a remote and on-screen keyboard.

I'm a white boy but in highschool my best friend was 1st-generation Chinese-American.
His parents owned a Chinese restaurant that I worked at...Americanized Chinese, like everyone in America is used to.
While I worked there his parents also opened up an authentic Chinese restaurant.
Most of the stuff on the menu, Americans would ball at. There were dead ducks and pigs hanging in the window.
But I tried cow tongue there for the first time. It was amazing. And something else with white sauce I don't remember what it was but it was so damn good.
I had a falling out with him, and the parents lost their restaurants in COVID.

One of the best examples of how it's expensive to be poor.
We got a BJs (regional wholesale club) membership around the time our first was born. It was worth it just for diapers and wipes. Hell, when he was on formula, a giant jar at BJs cost the same as a medium jar at the supermarket.
A lot of things were like this, but the best examples were the ones that take up the most space and either get used (comparatively) slowly or go bad relatively quickly. Like paper goods. Frozen anything. Fresh meat, produce, dairy.
But if you don't have the space to store that stuff (and especially to stock up when there are coupons/sales), you're missing out.
I'm thinking of buying a chest freezer *just* so I have a bunch of frozen pizzas on hand so we have no excuse to order delivery when we get home too tired to cook. On that use case alone, the freezer would probably pay for itself by 6 months, including electricity.
Can't do that if you've got a 600sqft studio.
Sometimes one big purchase might be worth it to get a membership for. Like tires. How much you'd save on a set of tires would be less than the cost of a first-year membership, especially if you got a Groupon. But if you don't have the space to store wholesale goods, it's probably not even on your radar.
That happened to me on vacation, and why I was a member of the Houston Museum of Natural History (I think that's what it was called), despite only being there one time and living like 1200mi away. For my family of four to go and park, tour the museum, see a planetarium show, etc, it was cheaper to become a member, even if we'd never be coming back during its term.

Let’s take a look at plus-size models. That’s a really good example.
It makes this rift between haas/body acceptance and what’s really actually healthy.
But on the flip side, super-skinny models aren’t exactly healthy, either.
Both normalize unhealthy weight and lead to population-wide body image problems and related eating disorders. Then you get things like social media throwing rocket fuel on that fire.
I don’t see how either is “woke” though.
