Which just points to the fact that the end goal is the work product.....not the journey. The journey benefits the individual. The individual learns. It benefits them in the long run. But if the individual can just get to the output part without the journey, then it's not a flaw it's a feature. And what turns the individual into a cog because anyone can do it.

That is what's being promoted..don't worry about the pesky individual, look at the shiny output.

Gato: Gets some tuna juice cause I was making a tuna fish sandwich.

Me: Gets to smell the breath spot on his fur, after he gives himself a bath, after his tuna juice treat.

Figured while the boys play with their toys, I can assemble mine. My assembly backlog has grown a bit AND I just received an expansion (not pictured). That means there's now 2 new monster that need to be painted.

Today's going to be a good day. All day #KingdomDeathMonster playing session.

This weekend was expectedly tranquil and unscheduled hobby time. I've 2 boxes remaining of minis that need assembling, which I can probably knock out tonight. Not having to see the stack of individual boxes is a balm for my soul.

That will leave the massive expansion box I got last week: 2 monsters and at least 6 regular minis....not to mention the 2 other minis that I ordered last week.

Today wishlist opens for Gencon....a nice way to spend a Sun afternoon.

Household chores are done and I'm ready to get to painting for a few hours. I have an opera related event tonight so I'll have to stop, which I hate.

Started reading Mark of the Fool and the subsequent series. I needed a light fantasy series after the darkness of Malazan book series.

I'm enjoying it so far.

#Gencon wishlist built. There's one more game series that still hasn't been uploaded to events. Once those show up, I'll slot those in and then I'm officially done and in 2 weeks we'll see how successful I am.

So for the rest of the day, I'm doing laundry and assembling minis. Next Sat is all day #KingdomDeathMonster play day.

For my peeps in ATL, I've got someone new in the infosec space and I was hoping ya'll would give me some insights into any local infosec meetups/groups/chapters that I could share with them. They already know about #BSidesATL but that's in October.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a nice, vibrate, saturated Red acrylic paint? Not pink, not magenta, but RED. I have the entire line of Army Painter Fanatic paints and the True Red or Dragon Red is just too pink.
