I am so tired of watching Major leaguers being unable to slide into a base and not completely past it. And to watch it happen consistently with the same players over and over. Whatever they’re teaching them because of whatever data about getting to a base faster is irrelevant when they’re out for sliding past it. #MLB #Fundies

Bucking conventional wisdom, the Rockies should build a team designed to win on the road. Conventional wisdom says you build for your home stadium, like Yankees and Yankee Stadium. But Coors Field is unique in how it plays for all teams. Shoot for over .500 at home but build to win on the road.

@NosirrahSec@infosec.exchange I’m glad it worked out well for you. I want to stress this is all self-diagnosis but I have never felt so “that’s me” than I do just knowing it exists and aligns so much. Will I go for a formal assessment, maybe in the future.

I’m in my late 40s (for context) and have always had certain executive struggles, but never to the point of crippling or preventing me from living life. Recently I’ve learned about AuDHD and how it manifests and so many things clicked into place. I have had people ask about autism in certain things but they dismissed the idea on their own because of other traits I have. I’ve had people ask about ADHD because of some aspects of personality, but dismiss it because of other traits I have. Hearing and learning about AuDHD and how much clicked, even if I don’t have either, learning of methods of identifying, acknowledging, and utilizing has been so freeing. Like a weight has been lifted and a cloud cleared. I think about pursuing a formal diagnosis but I’m also a person that says what would it matter. I’ve gotten to this point, and if I am or not is irrelevant, if I find comfort and relief in seeing strong similarities and the same adaptations are helpful and working.

@mattmaison@mastodon.world I like some of the analysis you get and there are some 3-man booths that function well. But the rotating cast NBC uses kills any chance of chemistry to grow a good product. Everything they’ve done since getting broadcast rights has been awful.

MLB alls all of us with a subscription to their TV+ or through our cable provider, a refund for today. What an absolute FU to all the fans of the game. I get media deals and whatever. I understand wanting to expand into other streaming. But of the 15 games on today, we only get to watch two, unless we sign up for Peacock? It is an utter failing to allow this to occur.
