A fine sun cloud mix today. Still high 20's much of southern NB & Mainland NS. Shower chances best in CB & NW NB. Showers or thunderstorms develop Tuesday: hit or miss. Sunny & not as hot Wednesday. Shower chances return Thursday & Friday. Looks like sunny & comfy weekend.

Only 3mm in my gauge; but a few spots exceeded 25mm in thunderstorms yesterday. Showers & a few thunderstorms are moving mostly across NB thru PEI into N NS today. Showers linger over CB Monday; clouds & fog break up elsewhere. More showers expected Tuesday then fine Wed-Thu. Showers Thu night.

A nice start to the weekend. However, showers and a few thunderstorms over Maine and the Gulf of Maine are moving eastward. The timing and location of this precip is very difficult... shared a few model maps that illustrate the varying distribution. Not quite as hot, but still warmer than normal.

I had only 3mm from the showers, which mostly have moved to eastern areas early this am. Skies have already cleared in western sections, with most areas clearing by noon. Gusty west winds with low to mid 20's. Hot and humid for the remainder of the week. Afternoon shower chances increase Fri-Sat.

Clouds thicken up today (foggy along Atlantic & Fundy) followed by showers/drizzle moving into western areas. The showers (risk thunder) continue east tonight, persisting over all 3 provinces Tuesday am. Skies clearing first in the west early Tues aftn. Mostly sunny & warm temps rest of week.

A mostly fine sun-cloud mix today. Spotty showers will be brief. Mid to high 20's away from Fundy & Atlantic coasts. Showers at times heavy move slowly across the Maritimes Monday with skies clearing first in the west on Tuesday. Hot and humid remainder of week with late day showers Friday.

Variable rainfalls yesterday. I had 17mm; but Shelburne & Louisbourg had over 50mm! Moncton & Charlottetown both had 30+mm. Still a few showers/thunder today. Sunny breaks in NS will warm things up then trigger a thunder risk this aftn. Skies clear Saturday; fine Sunday; showers develop Monday.

Showers moving north into the southern Maritimes from the ocean. At 7am a heavy shower with thunder over SW NS heading for the NB Fundy coast. The showers become more scattered on Friday with drizzle persisting. Clearing Saturday and sunny Sunday. More showers Monday. Then mostly fine next week.

Lots of fog & patchy drizzle this am. Fog gradually retreats to coast; sunny, warm & humid inland. Timing of showers uncertain Thursday... move first into the SW then spread NE. EU model moves them in more quickly. Showers/drizzle linger over S Maritimes Friday. Fine Sat-Sunday. Showers Monday.

The system south of NS keeping cloud & fog over HFX & eastern NS with spotty showers or drizzle this am. Clearing this aftn. Otherwise a warm & more humid airmass settling in. Cool coasts as Atlantic & Fundy fog becomes widespread. Showers & drizzle on a weak front over NS Thurs night-Friday.

Sunny. However high cloud and patchy fog/drizzle along the Atlantic coast from a low passing offshore NS. Might be an aftn shower SW NS. Sun-cloud mix with humidity slowly rising Tuesday & Wednesday. A system moving into the SW Wed night for a damp Thursday. Mix of sun & passing showers on weekend.

A few spots with single digits early this morning; a reflection of the low humidity. Warms up nicely in the sunshine next couple of days. As humidity increases later in the week, so will the clouds and chances of showers. Thursday looks fairly damp; then unsettled through the weekend.

The multi-model ensemble outlook: mid to high 20's likely over the next couple weeks. "Comfy" air this weekend gradually becoming more humid next week; warmer & humid to start August. Best chance of showers Thursday or Thursday night. Enjoy.

Fine day; increasing high clouds with low to mid 20's. Heavy rain & thunder moves in tonight tapering to showers at times heavy in the afternoon. This atmospheric river of tropical moisture threatens the Atlantic coast with high amounts: the CDN model forecasting 30-60mm; but the EU model 60-120mm!

Mostly fine today and Tuesday. Breezy from the west keeping aftn temps in the low 20's. Stays cooler along the Atlantic and NB Fundy coasts Tuesday; but mid 20's elsewhere. Heavy rain from an "atmospheric river" of tropical moisture develops Wednesday; may persist Thurs along the Atlantic coast??

A band of heavy rain over central NS at 6:30am is moving east into CB this am then moves off later this aftn. A few showers or drizzle after the rain. Clearing begins first over SW areas near noon, with most of the Maritimes seeing some sun by evening. Next rain event Wed... heavy ATL coast??

Nice start to the weekend. High cloud thickens first over NB. Mid 20's this aftn xcp cooler Atlantic & NB Fundy in gusty south breeze. Rain moves into NB this evening then spreads east overnight. Rain tapers to showers with sunny breaks in the aftn. The average 25mm will be welcome. More rain Wed.

A cooler air mass with just some lingering cloud in a brisk west wind today. 9mm in my gauge this am from the thunderstorm that passed late yesterday. The EU model has been consistently forecasting decent rainfalls: Saturday night into Sunday and Wednesday. 30-60mm total but 100+mm in parts of SW??

Fine start to the day. Showers & thunderstorms develop over SW NB this aftn & spread across NS-PEI late aftn-eve. A more "comfy" type air with the showers hangs around Friday. Parts of Mainland NS have wel below normal rainfalls so far in July. Saturday night and middle next week may change that.

A mix of sun and cloud with a few spotty showers or thunderstorms today. Rain is hit or miss. Showers/thunder more likely on a front over the southern Maritimes Thursday aftn/eve. That will cool things for Friiday. Decent chance of widespread rain Saturday night into Sunday.

A welcomed but insignificant 1.8mm in my gauge this am. A mostly sunny & comfy weekend. Any showers will be brief & spotty. Humidity & temperatures increase early next week with some passing showers or thunderstorms, most likely Tuesday and Tuesday night. More comfy temps & humidity later in week.

Widespread showers (risk thunderstorm) over NB & W PEI at 5am are moving southeast over NS this morning then move out later this aftn. Hoping to squeeze an early golf game... tough call. A fine weekend with just spotty showers. Temps remain seasonably in the 20's.

Lots of sunshine; high 20's inland today. A few afternoon thunderstorms will be spotty. Showers or thunderstorms most likely across the middle of the Maritimes Friday; just spotty elsewhere. Fine weekend for your outdoor plans. Best chance of rain next week: Wednesday.... then turns cool late week.

A couple of very nice comfy days with sunshine and seasonably warm daytime temperatures. A system passing south of NS on Wednesday looks to clip the Atlantic coast with light rain/drizzle. Humidity increases late week and so do chances of passing showers or thunderstorms.

Winds have shifted to a cooler drier northwest; markedly cooler over eastern areas with passing cloud & a sprinkle. The stronger gusts persist all day over PEI & CB. Then a mostly fine week with lots of mid 20's. Rain might clip SW NS Wednesday. A line of showers looks to cross Friday. Enjoy.

Thunderstorms develop on a front mostly over eastern regions this aftn or this evening. NB cools first while 30's return to NS this aftn. Sunday will be fine with cool teens over eastern areas under brisk NW winds. Nice next week with sunshine and mid 20's. The European AI model has rain on Wed.

Hot and humid air triggering some thunderstorms into Saturday. Lots of 30's (mid 30's NB) with overnight temperatures mostly in the 20's have resulted in heat warnings. Keep an eye on the radar, stay hydrated and try to stay cool.

A mix oif sun and hazy high cloud today; lots of mid 20's (a few 30's NB). A band of showers (thunder risk) moves from north to south tonight. Then a hot Thursday with quite a few 30's in NB and a few elsewhere. Another band of showers/thunder Thursday night then more heat of Friday.

Multi model outlook into July: a summer pattern in the forecast. Fine most days with lots of mid-high 20's and some 30's. Just spotty or brief shower events. So with no obvious significant rain events in the forecast, best to be sensible with water use, and careful in the forestes.

Enjoy today's sunshine; low-mid teens inland. Showers, drizzle & fog Sunday in brisk south winds. A band of rain changes to snow in NW NB Sunday evening. The rain band crosses the Maritimes Sunday night moving offshore CB Monday. Then a fairly fine but coolish week.
