  I created #GeoPulse accounts for each family member and migrated all location history data from the #Owntracks recorder. The last bit was to switch #HomeAssistant location reporting to it. I'm not sure we will use GeoPulse often, but it's nice to know we have #SelfHosted location history.   Guess what? All my #homelab went offline today at 3:50 AM while I'm away from home. Is it a rule or something? It happened right after "Cloud Gateway Ultra has updated to 5.1.19" and was resolved by gateway reboot. I never had issues with #Unifi updates previously. This sucks.   We are renting a part of the old mansion together with a part of its basement. It also has a small dirt area where my wife started gardening. On a second gardening season, I found out that there was a watering hose running from the basement to the garden. It was detached from the pipe and left in the basement twisted. The hardest part of recovering this watering system was to push a hose through a small 3-meter-long tunnel from the basement to the garden. But now we have water! #gardening

  We are slowly preparing for our first hike with a tent and night in the woods. I’ve got a #turbad tent for three made in #Ukraine, and a #regatta backpack on discount. There is still a lot we don’t have. For example, my daughter doesn’t have any proper clothes and shoes. Also we need sleeping bags and pads.   This is a disk I/O report for the last 30 days of every #Proxmox node of a cluster. Something happened around March 28 that caused high disk usage, and I can’t figure out what. The replication tasks are failing randomly, and actually, any disk operations are slowed down. Also, there are no significant changes in CPU, RAM, or network usage.   Made a return to the retail #WorldOfWarcraft with my wife. Need to say it’s not that bad. Time walking is a killer feature for returning players.   Replication tasks on my #Proxmox cluster are failing randomly due to timeouts. Hourly tasks can fail once a day. I’m too much in a #friday to investigate. Backups still work and there is no visible fire coming from the #homelab, so let it be.

  I have an #xmpp server now. A #prosody instance. And I need to make a statement. There are no good clients for macOS and iOS. I think I tried all of them. #Monal is a lesser evil. There is also #Fluux that is very good and really looks like software from the current century, but it still doesn’t support encryption.
