@tbaldauf @Meyerweb The nice thing with MacWhisper is that I can drag and drop multiple files and get SRT out of it without uploading to a server (it’s local, too). But it is super resource hungry, on my Intel Mac it was spinning the fans constantly. The M1 Max is silent.

Yes, let’s get all excited about low-hanging accessibility fruit like the <search> element. But it will take some time until it is actually available in browsers and screen readers, so better double up with <search role="search"> for the next year or two! #a11y #progressiveEnhacement

Asking someone who is ableist to center disabled people is as effective as asking a racist to center Black people. In an ableist system, we sometimes have to sweet talk and trick people into doing the right thing. Does that feel great? Fuck no. Does it inch the world towards being less inaccessible? I sure hope so. For me to center disabled people, I sometimes have to make other people believe that they center themselves. I sure wished I could make them magically care and understand. I can’t.

Looks like the only rational way to have multiple usernames in the Fediverse on one domain is to self-host a Mastodon instance, right? I’m thinking of having yatil@domain and lego@domain and biking@domain, for example. I would have loved to do it through @help, but it looks like multiple blogs on one domain are not a thing. Hm…
