    Sometimes a successful writing day is working through your planning document, digging deep into your characters&amp;#39; backstories to rehash plot points and restructure their arcs.     I desperately want to change my legal name, but the sheer mountain of paperwork involved as a dual citizen (never mind the expense) is so overwhelming I&amp;#39;m not sure I have the energy to start this process even though I know it&amp;#39;ll be worth it in the end 😢

    Ah, it feels so good to be immersing myself in the novel WIP again. I&amp;#39;d really like to finish this draft by the end of July. Currently on 51k words with about 30k words to go. It feels doable. #amwriting

    Added some words. Deleted some words. Shuffled a few scenes around to improve flow and pacing. I&amp;#39;m ending with 3k fewer words than I started with but made major progress on the WIP. This is what writing looks like. #amwriting #WritingCommunity

    Given all the recent nonsense with authors getting upset that readers borrow books from libraries etc., here&amp;#39;s my take: Please buy my books, but if you can&amp;#39;t then: 1) Borrow my books from your local library/whatever online lending service you use 2) Find my books secondhand 3) Borrow my books from friends Reading is for everyone. There are many legitimate ways to enjoy books, so please do! #bookstadaon #amreading
