I worked with the game developers Frogwares for many years on their long-running series of Sherlock Holmes adventures.<br />OTHER STUFF! Very much into twisty puzzles (cubing) and Tamagotchi.<br />Vegan for 10+ yrs.</p>

    Mini book haul! 🎉 📚 I made good on my threat and bought some more Vita Sackville-West, plus her biography by Victoria Glendinning. Maurice by E.M. Forster has long been one of my favourite novels, but I wanted a nice illustrated hardcover edition, and this hits the spot.     There&amp;#39;s a large fire at the hotel just three doors down from our building. Five fire engines and an ambulance, the road taped off, firemen &amp;amp; women everywhere, it&amp;#39;s chaos. 😕

    Had a great time with All Passion Spent. What a fine writer Sackville-West was. I definitely want to read more of her work, and Victoria Glendinning&amp;#39;s biography, too, at some point. Now about to begin Atonement by Ian McEwan. I know there&amp;#39;s a film adaptation with Benedict Cumberbatch, which I haven&amp;#39;t seen -- so if I enjoy the novel then that&amp;#39;s something to look forward to watching! #books #AmReading #reading #bookstodon

    Atonement (by Ian McEwan) is taking me FOREVER to read. It&amp;#39;s exceptionally well-written, but as slow as molasses. I think maybe it&amp;#39;s not a book that I&amp;#39;m currently in the right mood for, but &amp;quot;I&amp;#39;ve started, so I&amp;#39;ll finish&amp;quot;. I&amp;#39;m enjoying it when I do pick it up, but it&amp;#39;s mostly just sitting next to me, glaring accusingly (and I&amp;#39;m glaring back at it). #reading #books #AmReading #bookstodon

    Just picked up Joe Jackson&amp;#39;s new album, Hope and Fury. He&amp;#39;s one of my all-time favourite artists: subversive, stroppy, in-your-face, experimental and melodic, AND he looks great in drag. Some cracking stuff on this album. #music #LGBTQ
