  Okay, I lied, we saw Macbeth: Blood and Bluegrass as well. Once again, the cast was musically amazing (definitely a theme this year), and worked well together. The source material was a bit verbose, but you know, Shakespeare. Genderbent Macbeth was a treat though.

  The Real Kyle McCarren was so damn sad. Yes, it had funny moments, but also this one hit me like a sack of bricks. It, also, had some amazing songs but above all the story was just intensely heart warming and wrenching. It’s worth seeing, but do bring tissues.

  Heated Rivalry: The Unauthorized Musical Parody was extremely good. Yes, it’s funny, but also the entire cast was amazing and sang so damn well. This is probably going to usurp Titanique for the off broadway crown, or better. It’s just that good. The songs have no business being this catchy.

  Built another mostly useless thing with Claude that no one needs. It connects SillyTavern, a local AI chat thing, to Voicebox which does local AI based TTS: https://github.com/willasaywhat/SillyTavern-Voicebox-TTS Admittedly you’re probably better off with XTTS or AllTalk, but this was fun to build.

  We had a great time at #collectacon and I even managed to get two streetpasses on my DS! Pretty sure whoever Dan and Matt are that they know each other, but it was cool to get a #streetpass 15 years later. 🤣

  Needed to find a space for a meetup, so I built this. Libcal-Viewer scrapes the availability of Chicago Public Library meeting rooms and provides a monthly view you can filter with time ranges.   We have this hammock chair stand thing and I remember thinking to myself “why does this exist and why did we buy it” and now I’ve found myself looking for it whenever I need downtime. I think my amazing wife has been buying sensory chairs for us and I didn’t realize it. 😅
