Google chaos is fairly annoying. Hey @EU_Commission is it on your radar that any routing app to be used with #AndroidAuto has to be downloaded via GooglePlay. In return this means downloading from F-Droid will result in a non functional app irt androidauto. Is that compliant with DSA and DMA?

macOS updates nowadays: music app got updates (I use jellyfin), safari got updates (using zen), iphone mirroring can now do xyz (not in the EU), freeform app does this (removed freefrom), podcasts app does that (I use antenna pod on android since it supports a sync feature cross devices via nextcloud which is really sweet), App Store: updating apps is now more convoluted and requires more clicks, new emojis 😳, RCS is now E2EE, but I prefer SIgnal and XMPP, music app shows lyrics (but it does not...

Since I ended up scratching my head: Apple buried this update under System Settings > Privacy Security > Background Security Improvements instead of software update. So if you were wondering where the hell this important security update was hiding - there you go.
