  #3GoodThings 1) I did everything on my list for today, as well as the usual Monday chores. 2) Got to be there for a friend who is having a rough time. 3) I recently learned why I was doing with badly with seeds and I have lettuce coming up.

  #3GoodThings 1) dryer is fixed and shelves are up -- kitchen is almost back to normal chaos level. 2) I cooked with homegrown zuchinni and garlic and basil for the potluck today... not very well, but I did it. 3) did some chores I've been postponing.

  #3GoodThings -- our shower inspection is done! The project is finished! -- my husband fixed the dryer. (Fingers crossed it stays fixed) -- I found the energy to cook a wholesome dinner that used up leftovers.

  #3GoodThings - Despite only getting around 6 hours of sleep, it was a good day. - I did some gardening and some tidying and made zucchini bread. - I ate lots of veggies.

  #3GoodThings Had a family day out. We visited my mom and celebrated George Cyril Wellbeloved's birthday. Then we took my daughter to a classic movie house and saw "Singin' in the Rain" and she loved the theater and loved the movie. I wish she would have a time-slip adventure and go back in time and watch movies with me in the days of revival houses.

  #3GoodThings 1) Remembered that I wanted to reach out to my sister more and we had a great phone call. 2) She had a good idea for my office windows. (I've been having trouble getting natural light without eyestrain.) 3) I realized that I may be experiencing autistic burnout. Which of course is not a good thing, but now I have a sense of how I can help myself. I asked for some alone time today and that helped a lot.

  #3GoodThings 1) Spoke with contractor and was reassured on several points. 2) Felt relaxed enough to make weekend plans with friends. 3) Remembered an old dream and think I can implement it.

  What the hell is up with theater trailers? Went to see Project Hail Mary today and they were so loud, it was even too much for my hard-of-hearing husband. Also lots of flashing lights; I literally had to close my eyes and plug my ears, not to mention take a migraine pill. Luckily the sound for the movie itself was fine. We both enjoyed the movie and both agreed the book was better.

  My family is doing a jigsaw of vintage cereal ads and one section of text has me very intrigued. It seems to be asking "will you be ready?" but I can't tell yet if it's for a dream date or the Last Trumpet.

  #AmReading, still, The Book Witch and interested in where the plot is going. Also, the "fictional" Duke is decidedly charming. But it's driving me up the wall that a book so obviously designed to appeal to book lovers (both the story and the physical object) has editing/proofreading mistakes!   I'm still reading my fourth #TransRightsReadathon book (Pretty by KB Brookins -- it's intense and can't be gulped down) so I've donated $40 to the Transgender Law Canter and $40 to a local organization that I've found helpful. I haven't seen a whole lot of posts about the readathon this year, I hope people are talking about it other places.

  I read To Broadway by Maurane Mazars, a #GraphicNovel with images that made me think of Jules Feiffer's passionate modern dancers. That's apt because it's set in the late 1950s.   My second #TransRightsReadathon book was Women's Hotel by Daniel Lavery. I immediately felt right at home, because though set in 1960s Manhattan, it reminded me so much of the sort of classic British books #FurrowedMiddlebrow reprints -- which I later learned was quite deliberate. https://mainstreetmag.com/a-conversation-with-daniel-m-lavery/ I thought it somewhat lacking in plot and through line -- which can be an issue for me with those books as well. Perhaps Lavery found the perfect...
