I am the former systems editor for the Spartanburg, S.C., Herald-Journal. Now I am working to establish a local media nonprofit for Spartanburg. If you don’t remember newspapers from 20 years ago, you may not realize what you’re missing. But if you were a newspaper reader then, you probably realize what the hedge fund managers that bought up local media have done to us, and to our community. Spartanburg residents are invited to join me at https://spartanburg.social. #introduction
