So... I managed to put together some hacky scripts and get out of my dependency on GitHub Pages, I can now publish my stuff elsewhere... now I want to slowly move repos to #codeberg I'm still thinking on how to preserve the huge number of images from sketch-a-day without burdening the codeberg repo... Also, I think I want to move my open teaching materials (material-aulas) from this precarious markdown rendering script to something clever and robust like #zensical

I wish people from #Codeberg and #Zenodo would collaborate to get the same clever integration features that allow people to preserve #GitHub releases at Zenodo. I bet people from the scientific community would like that. Is it too much to wish some big sciency inftrastructure group would fund this? ;-) I'm going to archive stuff at Zenodo as I move out of GitHub. #hopeful #FLOSS

@ThePSF@fosstodon.org I'm afraid that for an accurate landscape of the Python community the PSF would need to fund a properly professionally designed survey/census. The JB survey is inadequate to say the least, a lot of people have been saying it for years and it hasn't improved at all. For starters, many of us don't feel inclined to answer something clearly geared towards professional software developers. There is a huge selection bias at play.
