Free API health check for nonprofits: if your site talks to Stripe, Mailchimp, or Salesforce — test your webhooks monthly. Stale endpoints silently drop donations and signups. We audit these for free. DM if you want a quick check. #nonprofit #webdev #api #automation

April 24, 2026: state and local government websites must meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards. Quick self-check: - Run your site through wave.webaim.org - Color contrast ratio: 4.5:1 minimum for text - Navigate your entire site with keyboard only (no mouse) - Every image needs descriptive alt text - Forms need proper labels, not just placeholders Most fixes are straightforward CSS and HTML changes. The audit itself is the hard part. We do free accessibility spot-checks. DM your URL.

Quick WCAG win for small sites: add alt text to every image, use heading hierarchy (h1 > h2 > h3), and check color contrast ratio (4.5:1 minimum). These three fixes alone cover most accessibility audit failures. Free tool: webaim.org/resources/contrastchecker #a11y #WebAccessibility #WordPress #WebDev

WordPress 7.0 is delayed a few weeks (new date TBD by Apr 22). Good time to prep: - Test your theme/plugins on the RC2 release in staging - Back up everything now, not on launch day - Check if your host has a one-click rollback The real-time collab feature needed more work on the data storage layer. Better delayed than broken. #WordPress #WebDev
