Robert C. Martin's "Functional Design" is his 2023 follow-up to Clean Architecture. It covers the same SOLID principles, but from a functional programming and dynamic typing perspective. My observations: * Principles like Dependency Inversion are applied with basic functions. * The code uses domain-focused namespaces (video-store.order-processing) instead of layer names (model, service, repo).

Installing an OS on a device that the OS does not support is difficult or even impossible. This isn’t specific to GNU/Linux; for example, installing Windows 11 on an Orange Pi RV2 wouldn’t be easy.

My patch has been merged into the mainline Linux kernel. Despite being trivial, it helped me learn about Linux development culture, particularly how to use Git with a project that receives massive contributions, which is what Git was designed for. Despite having used GNU/Linux for 31 years, I&#39;m new to reporting bugs in the Linux kernel. https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=221236 I&#39;m sure I&#39;m not accustomed to the culture yet. I don&#39;t even know if Bugzilla is the right place to start. 🤦

build-l10n-db.sh, which basically inserts rows into SQLite, took 3 hours and 15 minutes on my Asus Expertbook with CachyOS, but it took only 51 minutes on the MacBook Neo.
