@Infoseepage I offer the observation that the whole ME has been desperate to divest from FF reliance for decades, partly because of US intervention. This could end up being the event that truly triggers the end of the oil age, leaving the US decades behind and actively regressing while Canada refuses to bail them out

Current working theory: US Gov has set up Turnip with a fake &#39;Situation Room&#39; where he thinks he&#39;s directing the war and talking to Important People, who are essentially actors. This is on the fundamentally reasonable grounds that having him living a complete fantasy is vastly less harmful than letting him be directly involved with any of it
