  It is 5:35am. I am watching The Mysterious Gaze of the Flamingo. I couldn't finish it the first time I sat down to watch it, but it's been stuck in my head like an unresolved melody and I think I need the hear the song in its entirety before my brain can move on.

  This is some early morning #cybersecurity nonsense; general topics are encrypted messaging, signals chatter, agentic AI, data exfiltration. It seems to me that the best place to hide communication is sometimes right out in the open; I've seen some gnarly scenarios where threat actors attempted to exfiltrate data via DNS lookups / records - blew my mind when I first came across it.   @cass_m this is the downside of making your business and the mechanisms of government inseparable. Starlink satellites, Oracle, Amazon, Microsoft; at some level, all of these companies have made themselves synonymous not only with the state, but with its military infrastructure.
