Happy Salticid Sunday! This is a male Tutelina elegans. The males are most commonly seen in June, when they are out looking for mates.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is now accepting public comments on designating the monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus) as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act. Please support this important step by leaving a comment at https://www.regulations.gov/commenton/FWS-R3-ES-2024-0137-0001. The industrial agriculture and argichemical lobbies will be fighting against this tooth and nail. Please boost!
