Just dropped 2 people off at a hospital in Birmingham (UK) and nipped to a supermarket to get a meal deal to eat while I'm waiting for them... After I'd paid for them had to actually scan the receipt at a machine to open some barriers to get out of the store :( What a time to be alive.

Oh dear! Not even sworn in as a councillor after Thursday's elections, and one Reform councillor has been suspended from the party... Or not, depending on which Reform person you talk to. You'd think people would learn, but no. It's like Schrรถdinger's suspension. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cm2pyy6ngz0o?app-referrer=deep-link

Found these teeny-tiny flowers growing out of the garden wall. Apparently, they're Ivy-leaved Toadflax. Originally from Italy. Bloody foreign flowers coming over here and growing in our walls! ๐ #Macro #Flowers #gardening #Photography

Another teeny-tiny flower in amongst the detritus at the edge of the 'drive' This one's apparently a 'Herb Robert' who I believe used to play with the Tijuana Brass way back when... #Macro #Photography #Flowers #Gardening

It looked as if the birds had cleaned out the food left out for them yesterday, so I refilled it. Then found this acrobatic squirrel hoovering it all up! #Squirrel #Birdfood #wildlife

I'm just trying to edit some photos!!! Stanley the cat has other ideas. After this he proceeded to try and sit on my shoulder. Now the laptop's covered in hair, my t-shirt is covered in hair and the edit I was making is completely trashed! #Cat #HowAmISupposedToDoAnything.

Some tiny 'Scarlet Pimpernel' flowers (I think!) Taken at Eardington Nature Reserve near #Bridgnorth in #Shropshire Lots of birds around, sadly no Dragonflies or Damselflies (yet) so I had to make do with teeny tiny flowers instead. #Macro #Wildflowers #Photography #Nature

Bought 2 fresh cream apple turnovers this morning. lovely.๐ Being essentially right angle triangle pastry filled with apple and cream you'd have thought they'd fit in a square box?? They complained the box wasn't big enough but would do their best to fit them in... Hmmmm... ๐ #Maths #creamcakes #bakery #bake #math #geometry

The ruins of Tynemouth Priory and Castle viewed from St. Mary's Island in the early morning. The lower cliffs of Cullercoats Bay in front of the ruins, and the land on the far side of the River Tyne beyond. Some beach huts on the sea front at Blyth, Northumberland. Apparently they can be rented by the day and contain some deck chairs, a kettle, coat hooks and a small 'work space'! A few pics from early last week in and around Whitley Bay in North Tyneside. Less than a minute earlier the Spanish City was bathed in a bright sunbeam which I typically missed! #Photography #Photos #NorthTyneside #StMarys #WhitleyBay #Landscape #Seals #Sea
