<p>It might seem obvious that if you value something, you&#39;ll make an effort to get better at it. What&#39;s less intuitive is that if you make an effort to get better at something you&#39;re not good at, you&#39;ll learn its value.</p>

    I&amp;#39;ve begun to emotionally equate literally every software update with &amp;quot;your device will now be slightly incrementally more annoying&amp;quot;. I have been a computer geek my entire life. I was excited about every new version of everything. I was excited by Windows 98 Second Edition. Software updates no longer make anything better.

    For once, this book bundle is actually available in New Zealand too! The Murderbot series is the best thing I&amp;#39;ve read in recent years.     So far the biggest actual change to my life from #PyConAU is that, thanks to @caitelatte, I&amp;#39;ve finally started playing Celeste.
