Been pretty good keeping up with my running routine. Hills are becoming more tolerable, nothing is flat here. Been mixing in some sprint intervals and liking that more than I expected. Signed up to do a 10k race in June…my brain needs this as motivation.

yikes! On my run today I accidentally scared 3 black bear cubs up a tree and I know mama bear was nearby, too. sorry bear fam, thanks for not getting too mad at me. but omg the cubs were so smol, and all claws, which is why I heard them.

❄️ It snowed late last night and is currently snowing here. I’m not mad about it. ❄️ Hoping this cold will weaken or at least delay the black fly and mosquito front that is soon to be upon us.

Was craving popcorn but realized I am out of kernels, but I did have a bag of frozen corn. So I warmed that up, seasoned the same way (olive oil, nutritional yeast, truffle salt, cayenne)…and wow, maybe a favorite snack now. 🌽
