Toot v19.0 has been released! https://toot.to/ This one was a longer development period than usual! I decided to do some heavy internal rewrites (moving to Swift async/await, for those who care about technical details), and since that was likely to cause some new bugs, I did a round of public beta testing. Thank you to everyone who participated, I managed to fix at least some of those bugs! What&#39;s new in this release is mainly notification folding, which combines similar notifications...

@cynblogger Interesting! Never heard of that bug before, but there is a different bug I’ve seen reported that seems a bit similar that I never managed to track down… wonder if this is a clue to that one too.

@cynblogger Ok, that is a big clue to why I’ve never seen it! It also makes even less sense now, that really shouldn’t be tied to iOS version…

@pictor It should show a newline if you type a period. Also, you can change the keyboard type in the settings.

Toot v26.0 has been released! https://toot.to/ This long-awaited update brings a UI refresh for iOS 26, and support for quote toots. Also, even device on older iOS versions get some of the UI improvements. There are many other smaller improvements and bug fixes as well, such as better support for filters. There might even be new mystery features? A big thanks to everyone who helped out to beta test this release. Thanks to them, it is far more stable than it would have otherwise been!
