  #Google has announced that #android will become a locked-down platform as of September 2026. Unverified #apps can’t be sideloaded on Android anymore soon. Users will no longer have the choice to install and run whatever software they want unless your app developers decide to register and verify their personal identity for the Android platform centrally with google.   @Alter_Mann @heiseonline Die jungen kids haben wahrscheinlich mehr Medienkompetenz als die Lehrkräfte. Da sollten die Schüler eher den Lehrern etwas beibringen.

  @saxnot @bazkie @nixCraft I fully agree. I just wanted to show a solution that if Wikipedia online database somehow disappears or gets purposely manipulated with false information, you can have the entire database as offline backup to preserve our knowledge.
