  They are putting guardrails down but the technology is statistical probability of tokens. The longer a conversation goes the more the technology goes off the path. I do think the companies should take some responsibility and compensate for incidents but killing the CEO doesn’t remove the technology and only adds one death.   I’m on Lemmy since I love the idea of federated platforms and open source software. I have a strong distaste for big platforms and addictive algorithms and big tech ad stalking. Just sometimes this political one-sidedness makes it hard to tolerate. I block communities and instances that I personally find distasteful. I block ML for example.
