Seeing things about hosting websites on old phones, powered via solar, .... The thing I don't quite get about that is they're connected via wifi. To a router that's probably just as powerful and could do that job. But it's probably also not solar powered. So are these mostly art projects? Is there a way to make this "properly" a sustainable thing? What's the real goal? #permacomputing

When you cannot find the proper power supply for your soldering iron, of course you just use your construction site lamp power station instead 🤷♂️

Watching @LaF0rge &#39;s great talk on wired phone services at #39c3 and trying really hard to resist the urge to buy an ISDN video phone on eBay 🙈
