Hardly a newsflash but the open source community sure does talk a lot of shite about “community” for a group with such obvious endemic issues with proper balanced representation.

Coldy day, got the sniffles. Still just about in the world of the living.

There’s weather absolutely everywhere out there. 😱 I’ve been chipping away on a new mkdocs, and it seems a decent bit of work. Currently on the backburner with httpx.

If you’re interested in taking a look at how MkDocs v2 is shaping up, I got a preview for ya right here… https://www.encode.io/mkdocs/ * Smart no-nonsense little default theme * QuickStart as simple as a README.md * Themes as regular zip archives Haven’t pushed a pypi prerelease yet, and the repo’s currently private. I’m here, happy to chat, and will open things up gradually.

There's now a publicly installable mkdocs v2, see the docs... https://www.encode.io/mkdocs/ There's also a couple of themes available... * https://github.com/lovelydinosaur/mkdocs-theme * https://github.com/lovelydinosaur/kelp-theme Likely that there are various part of how the theming works that will change slightly as things evolve... though there should be enough of a start there to find your way around.

I’ve potentially got a paid role available for OSS development going at the moment. Looking for someone who’s a good communicator, is design smart, and has a decent set of all round dev skills. Give me a nudge maybe.
