I would just like to point out we have been living off the largesse of @simonjwoolf for many years now; as he has said, it is €250-€300 annually and an hour of his time per month, to maintain the server that connects the 120 of us with the wider Mastodon community around the world. For the price of €2.50 per annum each, every user on this server can keep it going. I ask you to think of what the last thing you bought for €2.50 was.
