  Wayland. xdg_toplevel.configure can return zeroes. Which means it's your job to define the window size. As it is clearly written in the protocol xml. Which i totally read, instead of figuring this out by trial and error for an hour. Totally.

  Brand new sentence i came across today: "adversarial hallucination squatting". Which is exactly what it sounds like - grabbing the domain names, github repos, and such that are commonly hallucinated by LLM tools, and filling them with malware.

  Two months left until the anniversary of my Canadian work permit application... Wonder if i should apply for a tourist visa, just for the lols. Best case scenario, it might kick something loose in their bureaucracy. And if for some reason they do grant it, at least i'll be able to go visit Canada and meet some friends next year.

  I've checked facebook today, as one does every now and then. Apparently one of the feminists i followed in 2015, a once proud TERF, had some character development over the last 10 years. She had a trans kid, and now thinks she knows what trans people really are. So she evolved... into being transmed and blaming queer people for all the troubles that "real, one-in-a-thousand" trans people have. Somehow this feels worse.

  Not doing water cooling ever again. Nope, nope, never. Not a chance. Ordered an air cooler for the GPU. It arrived, time to part with the water block once and for all. ...i got scammed, it is the wrong air cooler. No signs of alternative offers either. Putting the water block back on, while grumbling about destroying a perfectly good set of thermal pads for nothing. Ok, how about selling this one and buying a new one. Surely someone in this country would want a water cooled 3090. Hm, simil...

  Injection day. Was feeling anxious for some reason. Might have something to do with the last two nicking a capillary and ending up a bloody mess? Maybe. All the anxiety was for nothing, however. It went about as uneventfully as possible.

  Shot day today, and it went badly. It started ok, inserted, aspirated, nothing. Injected, pulled out, and blood gushed out. It only lasted for a second, but enough came out to drip down to my panties and leave a square inch of them wet. Which is way more blood than i ever seen in my two years of injecting. There is a knot of blood under the skin, but so far i feel fine and nothing hurts. Fun.
