@renatarocha I’ve only seen 1 note, to the effect that they’re aware of it &amp; are working on it, but yeah. Text-only posts typically take 2–3 attempts; favourites &amp; bookmarks often fail after 15–20 seconds. Trying to be patient; wish we knew more.

When everything you try to do on Mastodon — posting, liking, boosting, bookmarking — results in “yeah, no; fuck you, try later”, the commercial/paid/algorithmic fuckers win. Ain’t none of us needs that.

So when one’s mastodon instance has become so unreliable that mundane things like scrolling the timeline, liking/boosting posts, or publishing posts mostly fail (or have become so slow that they say they’ve failed/timed-out, even if they ultimately succeed — which is just another type of failure, really), what are the odds of something as nuanced as migrating away from that instance working? 🧐🤦♂️ #mastodon
