I love how the new Banksy statue is also walking over the edge. I don&#39;t know, if that was planned or one of the small details that sometimes just happen in art, because you have to bend around a problem and then it elevates the piece even further. #banksy #art #statue

Gutes und wichtiges Video. Aber zum Coburger Wappen habe ich mal kurz recherchiert und es stammt nicht, wie im Video suggeriert, aus der Sklavenhandelszeit, sondern zeigt den heiligen Mauritius, einem verehrten Christen. Niemand weiß, wie er wirklich aussah, aber er kam aus Nord-Ägypten und mittelalterliche Künstler haben dann eben etwas sehr stereotypisches draus gemacht. TiL that with acrylics you can paint in layers. And here I was, 20 years wondering how to put on paint thick enough to cover the line art, but still being able to see the lines. And today I thought &quot;Maybe I should try out layers! 🤓&quot; just to find out this is what pro-artists do all the time. Ich nutze auf meinem Tablet (Android 9) den vlc Mediaplayer. Heute Vormittag war alles wie immer, doch plötzlich sagt VLC es wären keine Mediendateien vorhanden. Gehe ich auf die Einstellungen werden interner Speicher und SD-Karte als ausgewählt angezeigt. Wähle ich sie erneut aus, wird kurz geladen, ohne Ergebnis. Über &quot;Dateien&quot; kann ich weiterhin Ordner und Videos anwählen und abspielen. Doch unter Video/ Audio wird weiterhin dieses Bild angezeigt. 1/2

Is there a good alternative for Adobe&#39;s InDesign that works on Linux? Since my PC is still broken (and probably won&#39;t be fixed, even though the warranty is still going til october), I am thinking about getting rid of Windows. #adobe #indesign #askfedi #linux #linuxmint
