  perhaps I should mention that facebook and instagram is not slop in my corner of the social media universe. Often I wonder why... when I was intensively investiataing social media, 3 or 4 thousand followers, running experiments etc. I found blocking not muting blocking worked... which is why they ran liberal campaigns against such thiungs

  I treated social media as a rhizomic struture, an assemblage that needed controlling, the difference i suppose was that I never thought of it as slop and so on... No, rather I consideredi t as an aspect of the spectacle that should be treated accordingly

  i have read most of a book on Deleuze and atheism this weekend, its been interesting and challenging. Primarily because the writer used to be a person of faith, the ghost of his theism haunts his writing. His approach is expansive because of this - whereas i have never had any faith in transcendental, religious ideology… i think i’l finish the last quarter of the book tomorrow..

  one new subset/genre of books i am exploring is books by old people, about being old, for obvious reasons, i am about to become old-old as the japanese gerontologists call people over 75… anyway as a consequence i am reading Julien Barnes Departures…. its really good, but not something i’d recommend for anyone much younger than me… young-old ok middle aged no… #literature #age
