  @sentinian It turns out of you guess a word such as "yippy" and you get zero letters correct, the game lets you guess that same word 6 times. But I do this on the honor system. Which is not to say I don't repeat letters. In this example, I often follow up with "pippy" and "zippy". Keep going until you have 6 different words, but feel free to repeat letters. At least that's the way I'm playing it.

  @danielmrose I have reduced it to about 3 starter words where, if they work, I have follow-up words that go with them that barely risk any new letters. Part of the challenge is that the first word has to be perfect.

  @danielmrose Every once in a while, the World will be unusually difficult, and NYT puts out that X% (say, somewhere in the low 60s) solved the Wordle in 6 guesses that day. And they have included that most days, it is roughly around 95%. So it's a bit of a lonely pursuit.
