  I was at a shitty crustpunk repository getting software after-work. One of those shitholes where the maintainers clearly hate you. So the maintainer and I were ignoring one another when someone sits next to me and he immediately says, "no. get out."   so apparently, on mastodon, if you type in your password in a post, it will show up as stars (don't think that works with other fedi software, only mastodon does that currently) for instance, if fae writes faer own password (***************), everynyan else should see it as stars ​:sylveon_uwu:​
