  While at the Island Mere hide a Reed Warbler was hunting for Damselfly’s and taking them back into the same spot in the reeds. We assume it’s for a nest, it was amazing to watch and was totally unbothered by us.   Today we saw a lifer! My phone alerted me to some new arrivals so we headed up to a farmers field near Lessingham, north Norfolk. Perched on the power cables were 13 European Bee-Eaters!   @kolombiken@front-end.social yeah I’m lucky to live about 20 minutes from a lot of wetland fens/marshes. The RSPB folks that look after it think there may be 5-6 there. I’ve seen two together during the summer.
