    We&#39;ve had young nephew staying over since Friday, and while it might be tempting to think that&#39;s only 50% more parenting, it really does seem to scale as a fully-connected graph. So 3x the parenting.

    I&amp;#39;d really like to wrap the low-level (motor on for so long, at such and so PWM duty cycle) stuff for this robot with higher-level absolute drive stuff (go in this direction for this distance), which I could try to do with more characterization of the drive train (and indeed this would be an interesting exercise regardless) but of course this is skid steer, so consistency is not is strong point. I&amp;#39;d like to do some kind of odometry, and an optical mouse sensor mounted on the bot...

    I spent much of the day yesterday outside, walking with the dog, or biking from place to place. While I was fine at the time, this morning my allergies are absolutely bonkers while medication comes back online...

    Dreamt that I was taking some kind of cadets camping, and for some reason a bunch of them were wearing enormous flip flop sandals made out of pool kickboards, and they kept tripping over things like tent guylines and such. Knocking things over, starling one another. All very weird.

    I had a really nice experience this evening of someone complimenting my performance in a play more than a year ago. I am still really proud of that show, so I love to hear that audience members loved it, too.

    Went walking to the library both to pick up a hold and also to see whether we&amp;#39;d spy that coyote again. No luck on the latter, but Sprocket charmed the librarians, as he often does.
