Popping in to say hi, so "Hi," everyone. I'll try to do better & post my movies/book reviews and my Art here I don't hate this place, it's just kind of dead so it feels a bit like screaming into a Void compared to Bluesky, but a lot of you are kind enough to follow me and I've "met" some really lovely people here, too, so I should make more of an effort :) I will be doing #AuGhost again this year, for anyone who wants...

For any Robert Aickman fans: I did a guest writing piece for Deep Cuts in a Lovecraftian Vein about one of his most ambiguous stories, "Choice of Weapons." If you like unsettling fiction, he is one of my favorite writers- the other side of a coin w Shirley Jackson- I highly recommend checking out his unique, eerie writing. So please read if you enjoy his work; are curious about him, or are just curious about MY writing :) https://deepcuts.blog/2026/06/27/ultimately-and-irrev...

It is imperative that this resource be saved The short-sightedness of media saying their reticence to allow/support the Internet Archive is their fear of "AI" scraping would be funny if this wasn't so dire Like, are you familiar w literally everything now? All right, I came back for a bit but the engagement is still not great and I don't like screaming out in a Void or immediately getting scam notifications so Hi to all my friends still on here, glad you're happy, but I'll continue to predominantly be over on Bluesky (for now, anyway) I'll still post my book reviews here and check in occasionally :)

Deleted the scam post since a bunch of you lovely people confirmed it was indeed as I suspected and a scam/phishing attempt. Thanks to everyone who took the time to reply. :)

Maybe when you respond to someone who goes out of their way to good naturedly engage with a question you asked Especially when you've gotten no other engagement Take a moment to consider that your response may come across as unnecessarily dick-ish to the stranger you're replying to You may or may not mean to be, but it may come across that way, regardless
